Draw Precise Lines in Digital Art: A Guide to the Line Tool
Unlock Straight Edges with the Shift Key
When using the Brush tool, hold down the Shift key to draw a straight horizontal line by dragging the cursor left or right. For vertical lines, drag the cursor up or down.
Drawing Lines with the Rectangle Tool
Select the Rectangle tool from the toolbar. In the submenu of the shape tools, click on the Line Tool. Click and drag on the canvas to draw a straight line.
Choosing the Line Tool from the Toolbar
Locate the Shape Tool group (labeled "U") in the toolbar. Within this group, select the Line Tool to access its functionality for drawing straight lines.
