111th edition to begin in Florence

The 111th edition of the Tour de France will begin in Italy in 2024, the first time the race has started in the country. The race will start in Florence on 29 June and will finish in Paris on 21 July.
This will be the 26th time that the Tour de France has started outside of France, with the previous instances occurring in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Denmark.
The route of the 2024 Tour de France has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be a challenging one, with several mountain stages and a time trial.
The Tour de France is one of the most prestigious cycling races in the world, and it attracts some of the best riders in the sport.
